These should be fairly simple, right? Wrong. Lots of the flavours used make it difficult to buy crisps for an allergy sufferer. Here are some of our favourite DF SF ones though.
Walkers Salt and Vinegar (standard ones, not popped or baked) No specific allergens listed. Made in a factory that handles milk, wheat, gluten, barley, soya, celery and mustard. It can be pretty tough to find this childhood favourite flavour without milk used in it. These ones are some of the best and we all enjoy them in our house.
Walkers Prawn Cocktail (standard ones, not popped or baked) No specific allergens listed. Made in a factory that handles milk, wheat, gluten, barley, soya, celery and mustard. Crisp sandwich material anyone? Seriously though, these have a lovely intense flavour that makes some cheaper versions seem bland by comparison.
KP Space Raiders Pickled Onion – No allergens Listed – May Contain Milk or Soya. These are a fun alternative for lunchboxes – strong pickled onion flavour, shaped in Alien style heads, these are a puffy crisp – made with maize and wheat -with a crunch. Loved by my primary school Alien Defence Team!
Twiglets- Contains Celery, Gluten, Wheat. May contain Eggs Milk and Sesame Seed. Love them, or loathe them, these crunchy little bites are a firm fixture at picnics, kiddies parties or on the Yuletide buffet in our home. All of my children love them and it gives us another option for pack ups.
